“The more you signal who you are and what you care about, the more you open yourself up to new possibilities. - Packy McCormick
Hi friends!
First off, I want to say thank you for being part of this newsletter. I hope you're enjoying it as I am putting it together. Here’s a flower picked from the Gatineau Hills as a token of my appreciation.
My writing course, Ship 30, started this week and I started publishing my atomic essays as part of the 30-day challenge on my Twitter. I also started a research fellowship with a VC firm (I can't disclose which one yet) where I'll be writing a deal memo of a pre-IPO startup every week until August. Those pieces will be published on their website sometime this summer. Stay tuned for that!
Here's what I want to share this week:
🚀 Published atomic essays:
6 atomic essays done. 24 more to go!
3 Reasons Why Venture Fellowships Are Great For Aspiring Venture Capitalists
How Packy McCormick's "The Great Online Game" article changed the way I saw the world
👩🏾💻 Upcoming atomic essays:
This coming week, I'll be approaching week 2 of Ship 30 for 30. Here are the atomic essays I have planned:
Why I want to be an online writer
5 metaverse startups that recently raised a Seed Round
5 metaverse startups that recently raised a Series A Round
Things I like about Canada as a California Girl
Benefits of using Twitter Lists
Quick takeaways from Twitch's deal memo
Quick takeaways from Shopify's deal memo
🤔 What do you think?
Which published essay did you enjoy and which upcoming essay are you looking forward to the most?
👋🏽 That's all for now
I'd love to hear from you whether it's feedback on what you enjoyed about this week's newsletter, what needs work, and what you want to hear more about.
Chat with you all next week!
Cheers,
Neilda
