NeildaVerse Notes #33
Mutiny startup memo, new Notion template, and playing with Notion databases
Happy Friday, friends!
🖋️ Quote of the week
The way I approach the problem of multiple priorities is by focusing on just one main metric: my energy. I make choices that maximize my personal energy because that makes it easier to manage all of the other priorities.

My last startup memo with Contrary Research is finally published!
…and it’s about this really cool startup called Mutiny.
When potential customers visit static, generalized websites of B2B companies, they might not quickly or easily understand why the product is great for them. This could happen because prospects from different industries and company sizes have varying needs and look for different types of visuals, messaging, testimonials, or social proof. According to Hubspot, the average bounce rate falls between 26-70%, with the optimal range being 26-40% as of January 2022.
As a website visitor’s attention span decreases and the availability of alternatives increases, personalization becomes essential to raising awareness, increasing conversion, and growing revenue. Mutiny is an AI web conversion platform that enables companies to dynamically customize the website’s copy, visuals, and call-to-actions to match the visitor’s profile to increase the product’s appeal. Its no-code editor empowers B2B marketers to take control of the web conversion, eliminating the need for a dedicated growth team to drive results. What takes marketing teams months to accomplish is now condensed into minutes.
I created my first full Notion template from scratch
Continuing my Notion creation obsession, as of late, I’m starting to challenge myself and created a template for a Quarterly/Monthly Goals & Reflections system from scratch. It combines elements of personal goal setting and Agile-Scrum methodologies in a very elegant way.
It includes:
Quarterly/Monthly Goals & Reflections dashboard
Quarterly goal setting for each quarter
Quarterly retrospectives for each quarter
Monthly goal setting for 12 months
Monthly retrospectives for 12 months
Let me know if you’re interested in it, and I’ll send it your way when it’s ready. 😊
👩🏾💻 What I learned
How to create a template database within a template page in Notion
In my Notion template above, each month has a list of goals and retrospectives associated with those goals. Each month’s goals and retrospectives have their own database. Rather than recreating each month individually, I created a monthly template with blank databases, so when I added a new month, everything would be set up, and all I had to do was rename the month.
It took me a minute to figure it out, but now that I know how to do it, I’m even more excited to make templates with more databases that connect and interact with one another!
